Douwei port area of Meizhou Bay, Quanzhou, covers an area of 377 mu, with a shoreline of 320 meters. As planned, a 50,000-ton wharf and a tank farm is going to be built for 77 storage tanks with a total capacity of 408,500 m³.


Lisha island chemical industry zone covers an area of 179.71 mu with a shoreline of 230 meters. A tank farm of 207,500 m³ is in planning stage.


Lisha island chemical industry zone at Humen Port, Dongguan, occupies an area of 280 mu, with a wharf of 20,000 tons, 97 storage tanks and a total capacity of 241,300 m³.


Nantong Rugao Port area, covering an area of 350 mu, has an 80,000-ton wharf, and 66 storage tanks with a total capacity of 475,000 m³. The terminal facilities include the approved 600 meters along the shoreline of the Yangtze river, one 80,000-ton berth, one 50,000-ton berth, one 5,000-ton berth, two 3,000-ton berths and two 1,000-ton berths.


Suzhou Taicang Port Development Zone covers an area of 412 mu and has an 80,000-ton wharf with an annual throughput capacity of over 5 million tons, 77 storage tanks with a total capacity of 606,000 m³, making it the largest methanol storage base in China. The wharf facilities have been approved to use 390 meters of the shoreline of the Yangtze river, including 5 berths and 77 tanks of a total capacity of 606,000 m.
